One Time For Your Mind
Graduation Day ~ 4/29/2006
I have been thinking a lot lately about relationships, our interconnectedness, and energy in all it's forms.
Through tragedy comes lessons for sure, but this time it feels higher ... clearer. Dusk's vibration was always so high, from such a pure place. My take on it is that his life energy and what he stood for is vibrating times infinity now. I feel it. Other people feel it. Wonderful things have already started to happen. Relationships renewed, misunderstandings disintegrated, love reinforced ... everywhere I turn.
You think people are always going to be there and most times they are. It sounds cliche, yet there is nothing truer than the adage Tomorrow isn't promised, tell people you love them today.
This past week has really highlighted how truly interwoven we are. The people we meet, be it briefly or those we build with, are equally relevant in our journey.
I mistakenly used to think that I could tear down and rebuild whenever I decided to. That if this over here wasn't working or if I associated a place or people with a bad memory, I could just shut my mental and emotional door and move on. How naive of me.
These aren't new revelations. But I see I have been going about some of my heart lessons the wrong way. There is another saying ... Denial is not just a river in Egypt ...
Dusk, my gratitude to you can't be expressed in words. Your influence on my journey has been an unexpected gift. Thank you, lover of all things beautiful.
